Students requesting a refund are subject to a $50 administration fee. Classes with fewer than 3 people registered are subject to Admin cancellation, without a cancellation fee. Cancellations must be requested 7 days in advance of the course start by email to hello@edgecitywoodworking.com.

If a student needs to cancel their registration we would prefer crediting the class fees for another time, in which case no cancellation fee is charged. No refunds will be issued for courses beginning within 72 hours (3 days) of, or after, the course start date.

Tuition Payment

ECWS requires payment for each course upon registration.  If a registrant wishes to arrange for other payment terms, please call the shop to discuss. Registrations are normally Non-Refundable. Credit cards are accepted by telephone or via our website. In the event that a course is canceled by ECWS, a full refund will immediately be issued.

Any student who works in an unsafe manner or fails to follow an instructor’s direction may be asked to leave ECWS immediately. Under this circumstance, a tuition refund is solely at the discretion of ECWS. Woodworking is an inherently dangerous activity. Each student will be asked to agree to the terms of a Waiver and Release of Liability upon initial registration. If paying by cheque or gift certificate, we require a student to print the Waiver, sign it, and send it to us by mail or email.

Storage of Ongoing Project Materials

Solely on a “space available” basis, project materials may be stored at ECWS during the term of the course only. ECWS accepts no responsibility for theft or damage of a student’s materials, hardware, tools or other property stored at ECWS. Materials left longer than 6 months may be removed and/or recycled.
